Here we want to tell you a little more about who we are and what we do, but first, let's challenge you with two tasks:
The first challenge
It's looking at the sky at night for five minutes. Try to find a planet! Sounds simple, right? But you'll soon realize that it's impossible to see them with the naked eye, even if they're close to Earth. Only an ancient instrument can help us: the telescope. If you've never had the chance to observe the sky through a telescope, you need to do it! It's an incredible experience that makes us realize how little we know and how vast the unknown is.
Just as there are various models of telescopes from different manufacturers and qualities, there are also various statistical and mathematical approaches. The quality of these approaches is reflected in the clarity and precision of the insights we can gain from the data. But they all have something in common: they allow us to see better than just using our eyes.
Now, the second challenge:
Open your Excel spreadsheet at work, full of colors, formulas, and graphs. The goal is the same: try to find "planets" in your data. But you will soon realize that it's not possible to see them with the naked eye. Is it because they simply aren't there, or perhaps you’ve never been able to see them? Just like planets, statistics and mathematics are necessary tools to reveal what we cannot see with the naked eye.
